The key to a good cover-up is patience and dedication to the process.
Not every tattoo can—or should—be covered in a single session. Depending on the existing tattoo, your goals, and the new design, we may need to work in stages to get the best possible result. Sometimes that means incorporating the existing tattoo into something new, reworking what’s already there, or recommending laser removal to lighten certain areas before we begin.
I approach each cover-up individually, working with the existing lines, shapes, and values rather than simply putting something darker on top. The goal is to create a tattoo that feels intentional and beautiful.
